The Dell PowerVault ME5012 Storage Array is a 2U storage system designed for SAN and direct-attached storage environments requiring scalable, high-performance block storage. It provides a flexible platform for business applications, virtualization, databases, backup infrastructure and other storage-intensive workloads.

Featuring a 12-bay 3.5-inch LFF chassis, the ME5012 supports a range of SAS HDD and SSD storage media. The system can be configured with SAS, Fibre Channel or iSCSI connectivity depending on the selected controller configuration, providing flexibility for different storage-network architectures.

The PowerVault ME5012 supports dual-controller configurations, multiple RAID levels, storage expansion and Dell management capabilities. The supplied service configuration includes a 3-year Basic Warranty with Next Business Day (NBD) On-Site Service.
