APC Easy Rack ER8282

The APC Easy Rack ER8282 is an EIA-310 compliant rack enclosure engineered for networking, patching, and edge computing applications where available floor space is limited. Its compact depth and increased enclosure width provide an efficient balance between equipment capacity, cable management, and deployment flexibility.

With a height of 42U, a width of 800mm, and a shallow depth of 800mm, the ER8282 is particularly well suited for small and medium-sized business environments, branch offices, and telecommunications rooms. The enclosure features ventilated front and rear doors with 81% perforation to promote efficient airflow and cooling, while supporting static loads up to 1200kg and dynamic loads up to 600kg.

The enclosure is supplied with a roof, side panels, keys, levelling feet, castors, mounting hardware, and four PDU mounting brackets, while omitting a bottom panel to provide flexibility for cable entry and customization. Its shallow-depth design enables front-to-back cable routing while maintaining clearance for rack accessories and reducing interference with hot-swappable server and networking components.

Designed for deployment versatility, the ER8282 ships fully assembled for rapid installation but can also be supplied unassembled to simplify transportation and movement through confined spaces. A multifunctional roof supports cable management and proper airflow, while rear accessory brackets enable compatible accessories to be installed without tools.

The enclosure also incorporates integrated vertical 1U mounting spaces adjacent to the standard EIA-310 equipment mounting rails. These sections can be removed and replaced with compatible 1U accessories, allowing additional customization and improved rack organization. Compatible with APC Easy Rack cooling solutions, cable management accessories, and Easy Rack PDUs, the ER8282 provides a scalable and efficient platform for modern IT infrastructures.
