The APC Easy UPS BVX 700VA 230V AVR USB Charging Universal Sockets (BVX700LUI-MS) is a compact line-interactive UPS designed to provide dependable backup power and voltage protection for computers, networking equipment, routers, modems, home-office equipment, gaming devices, and other essential electronic equipment. With a rated capacity of 700VA / 360W, it provides practical power protection for low- and medium-power devices in home, office, and small-business environments.

The BVX700LUI-MS operates with a 230V single-phase input and output and uses line-interactive UPS technology. Its Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) helps correct voltage variations without unnecessarily switching to battery power, helping maintain a more stable supply to connected equipment and conserve battery capacity during sustained voltage fluctuations.

The UPS provides 2 universal output sockets, allowing compatible equipment with different plug configurations to be connected. The unit also incorporates a USB Type-A charging port, providing a convenient way to charge compatible USB-powered devices while the UPS is operating.

The BVX700LUI-MS uses a stepped approximation to a sine wave when operating on battery power. The output frequency is specified at 50/60Hz ±1Hz synchronized to the mains, while the typical transfer time is approximately 6ms, with a maximum specified transfer time of 10ms.

The UPS incorporates a lead-acid battery with a 12V, 7.0Ah battery capacity. The typical battery recharge time is 8 hours, and the battery is designed to be serviceable using the APCRBC110 replacement battery. Schneider Electric also identifies the serviceable battery as a feature of the product, allowing backup capacity to be restored when the battery reaches the end of its service life.

The BVX700LUI-MS includes cold-start capability, allowing the UPS to be started and provide battery-backed power even when utility power is unavailable. This can be useful when equipment needs to be powered during a complete mains outage.

A LED status indicator provides an easy-to-read indication of UPS operating status and utility power conditions. The compact design allows the unit to be installed in a variety of environments, while its floor-standing tower configuration makes it suitable for desks, work areas, network locations, and other spaces where rack mounting is not required.

The UPS provides a 170V to 280V input voltage range at the nominal 230V input and supports 50/60Hz ±5Hz auto-sensing input frequency. It also provides 273 joules of surge protection to help protect connected equipment against electrical surges and spikes.

With dimensions of approximately 138mm × 98mm × 310mm and a net weight of approximately 4.2kg, the APC Easy UPS BVX 700VA is designed as a compact power-protection solution. It operates from 0°C to 40°C, supports up to 3000m operating altitude, and has an acoustic level of approximately 40dBA.
