The APC Easy UPS BVX 700VA 230V AVR USB Charging IEC Sockets (BVX700LUI) is a compact line-interactive UPS designed to provide dependable battery backup and voltage protection for computers, networking equipment, home-office devices, routers, modems and other essential electronic equipment. With a rated capacity of 700VA / 360W, it provides practical power protection for home, office and small-business environments.

The BVX700LUI operates with a 230V single-phase input and output and uses line-interactive UPS technology. Its Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) helps correct voltage variations and maintain a more stable power supply to connected equipment without unnecessarily using battery power.

The UPS provides 4 IEC 60320 C13 output connections, allowing compatible IT and electronic equipment to be connected directly. The IEC outlet configuration makes the UPS suitable for computers, networking equipment and other devices using compatible IEC power connections.

The BVX700LUI incorporates USB charging capability, providing convenient charging for compatible USB-powered devices. This feature adds flexibility for personal electronics and other low-power devices that require USB charging.

The UPS features an LED status display that provides an easy-to-read indication of the unit’s operating condition and utility power status. The simple interface allows users to monitor the UPS without requiring a complex LCD control panel.

The BVX700LUI includes cold-start capability, allowing the UPS to be started and provide battery-backed power even when utility power is unavailable. This can be useful when connected equipment needs to be powered during a complete mains outage.

The UPS uses an internal 12V, 7.0Ah lead-acid battery with a typical recharge time of 8 hours. The battery has an expected service life of approximately 2–3 years under typical conditions, and the APCRBC110 replacement battery is available to restore backup capacity when the original battery reaches the end of its service life.

The BVX700LUI supports an input voltage range of approximately 170V to 280V at a nominal 230V supply and automatically senses 50/60Hz input frequency. It provides a typical transfer time of 6ms, with a maximum specified transfer time of 10ms, helping maintain power to connected equipment during utility interruptions.

The UPS provides 273 joules of surge protection to help protect connected equipment against electrical surges and spikes. Its stepped approximation to a sine wave output is designed for typical computer, networking and electronic loads supported by the Easy UPS BVX range.

The compact tower-style unit measures approximately 138mm × 98mm × 310mm and weighs approximately 4.2kg. It is designed for floor or desktop installation and is not intended for rack mounting, making it suitable for environments where a compact standalone UPS is preferred.
