The Schneider Electric Symmetra PX Frame 160kW 400V (SYCF160KH) is a modular three-phase UPS frame designed for high-availability data center and critical infrastructure applications. It provides the scalable platform required to build a 160kW Symmetra PX UPS system using modular power and intelligence components.
The Symmetra PX architecture combines modular UPS technology, redundant intelligence and field-replaceable modules to simplify maintenance and improve system availability. The 400V system supports three-phase input and output and is designed for integration into data-center power infrastructure.
The SYCF160KH frame is supplied as the UPS cabinet/frame and should be configured with the appropriate Symmetra PX power modules, intelligence modules, battery solution and distribution components according to the required installation.

Schneider Electric Symmetra PX Frame 160kW 400V (SYCF160KH)
The Schneider Electric Symmetra PX Frame 160kW 400V (SYCF160KH) is a modular UPS frame designed for high-capacity, high-availability power protection in data centers and other mission-critical facilities. It forms the core cabinet platform of a Symmetra PX 160kW UPS system and provides the physical infrastructure for modular power, intelligence, battery and distribution components.
The Symmetra PX architecture is designed around modularity and redundancy. Instead of relying on a single large power conversion assembly, the system uses modular power components that can be configured to meet the required capacity. This architecture also allows service personnel to replace individual modules, helping reduce maintenance complexity and system downtime.
The SYCF160KH supports a 160kW 400V three-phase UPS configuration. The Symmetra PX 96/160kW platform supports 380V, 400V and 415V systems, with 3-phase + neutral + ground connections. At 400V, the 160kW configuration has a nominal input current of approximately 243A and a maximum input current of approximately 267A.
The UPS platform provides a high input power factor of greater than 0.98 at loads above 50% and input harmonic distortion of less than 5% at full load. Output voltage regulation is specified at ±1%, with output harmonic distortion below 2% for linear loads and below 5% for non-linear loads.
The Symmetra PX system supports substantial overload capability, including 125% for 10 minutes and 150% for 30 seconds during normal and battery operation. In bypass operation, the system supports 125% continuous loading and significantly higher short-duration overload capability.
The system uses modular sealed lead-acid battery technology. The 160kW platform has a nominal battery voltage of ±192V DC, with a float voltage of approximately ±218V DC and an end-of-discharge voltage of approximately ±154V DC. Battery capacity and runtime depend on the selected battery configuration.
The SYCF160KH cabinet is designed around a 42U-class enclosure and measures approximately 2011mm high × 600mm wide × 1070mm deep. The frame/cabinet weight is approximately 325kg excluding power modules.
The Symmetra PX platform supports EcoStruxure software integration, enabling integration with Schneider Electric’s power-management ecosystem. The architecture is intended to provide resilient and serviceable power protection for demanding data-center environments.
Important Configuration Note
The SYCF160KH is the UPS frame and should not be treated as a complete standalone 160kW UPS system. Power modules, battery modules and other required system components are configured separately depending on the desired capacity, redundancy, runtime and distribution requirements.
