The APC Smart-UPS SMT2200RMI2UC is an intelligent line-interactive UPS engineered to deliver reliable power protection and advanced management capabilities for rack-mounted IT infrastructure. Designed for IT professionals and network administrators, it helps maintain system uptime and business continuity by protecting connected equipment from power outages, voltage fluctuations, lightning strikes, brownouts, and surges.

With a power capacity of 2200VA, the UPS provides pure sine wave output, making it suitable for sensitive electronic equipment including servers, storage systems, network switches, communication platforms, and edge computing environments. Its compact 2U rackmount design enables efficient deployment in standard server racks while preserving valuable rack space.

The integrated Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) technology automatically corrects low and high voltage conditions without relying on battery power, helping extend battery life while maintaining stable output voltage to connected devices.

The UPS features a SmartConnect port for secure cloud-based remote monitoring and management. Users can remotely monitor UPS status, perform firmware upgrades, access diagnostics, and receive proactive email notifications with recommended actions, simplifying maintenance and improving operational visibility.

An integrated SmartSlot allows installation of an optional Network Management Card, providing advanced network management functionality and support for APC PowerChute Network Shutdown software. This enables graceful shutdown of physical servers, virtual machines, and hyperconverged infrastructure clusters during prolonged power events. The UPS can also integrate with EcoStruxure IT and third-party centralized management platforms for comprehensive infrastructure monitoring and centralized control.

The SMT2200RMI2UC is equipped with an IEC 320 C20 input connection, eight IEC 320 C13 outlets, and one IEC 320 C19 outlet to support a variety of connected devices. It includes BS1363A British and Schuko CEE 7/EU1-16P input cables, along with three IEC jumper cables for convenient equipment installation. A front-panel LCD interface provides real-time information on load conditions, battery status, operating modes, and configuration settings, enabling straightforward local management.

The built-in sealed lead-acid battery is user replaceable and compatible with dedicated APC Replacement Battery Cartridges, allowing users to restore UPS performance to original specifications when battery replacement is required. The UPS is backed by a 3-year warranty, while the internal battery carries a 2-year warranty, providing long-term reliability and peace of mind.
