The APC Easy UPS SMV1000I-MSX is a 1000VA/700W single-phase line-interactive UPS designed to provide dependable backup power and voltage protection for computers, networking equipment, workstations, small business systems and other sensitive electronic devices.
The UPS uses line-interactive technology with Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) to help maintain output voltage within acceptable levels during normal utility fluctuations. AVR reduces the need to switch to battery power during moderate voltage variations, helping preserve battery capacity.
The SMV1000I-MSX provides a rated capacity of 1000VA / 700W and operates at a nominal 230V AC. It features a pure sine-wave output, making it suitable for a wide range of modern electronic and IT equipment.
The UPS provides four universal battery-backup outlets, allowing multiple devices to be connected. This universal outlet configuration makes the SMV1000I-MSX suitable for different plug types commonly used in office, networking and business environments.
An integrated LCD interface provides detailed information about UPS operating status, while USB and serial communication ports allow the UPS to be connected to compatible management systems.
The UPS uses an internal maintenance-free sealed lead-acid battery. Schneider Electric also confirms that a replacement battery is available for the product, supporting long-term serviceability.
