Product Description

APC Easy Rack ER6402

The APC Easy Rack ER6402 is an EIA-310 compliant rack enclosure designed to simplify deployment of IT infrastructure in edge computing environments, remote server installations, and small equipment rooms. Its compact dimensions and feature-rich design make it well suited for low to medium density applications where efficient use of available space is essential.

With a height of 24U, a width of 600mm, and a depth of 1000mm, the ER6402 can easily fit beneath countertops or within confined spaces, making it an excellent solution for branch offices, retail locations, and distributed IT deployments. The enclosure is supplied with a solid roof, side panels, keys, castors, levelling feet, mounting hardware, and four PDU mounting brackets, while omitting a bottom panel to accommodate specific installation requirements.

Certified to UL 2146 standards, the enclosure incorporates integrated electrical grounding that ensures the roof, front door, and rear door are properly bonded to the frame. This enhances operational safety and helps maintain compliance with industry requirements.

The rack ships fully assembled to accelerate installation, while an unassembled option is available for easier transportation and storage in locations with limited access. Quick-release front and rear doors utilize a spring-pin mechanism that allows doors to be easily removed, repositioned, or interchanged to suit installation preferences.

A solid roof prevents objects from falling into the enclosure while still allowing cable routing through designated openings in the roof and rear door. Integrated tie-off points on the frame help secure cabling and maintain an organized infrastructure. The ER6402 is also compatible with APC cooling accessories, cable management solutions, and Easy Rack PDUs, enabling organizations to build a complete and scalable rack solution.
