The Poly Sync 40 USB-A/USB-C & Bluetooth Speakerphone (772C4AA) is a professional smart speakerphone designed to provide clear, natural audio for conference calls, online meetings and flexible collaboration environments. It combines a three-microphone steerable array, full-duplex audio, noise and echo reduction, a 50mm high-performance speaker, USB connectivity and Bluetooth in a portable wireless design.

The integrated three-microphone steerable array focuses on participants’ voices while helping reduce surrounding noise and distractions. The microphone system has a frequency response of 100Hz–6.7kHz and provides a pickup range of up to 2.5 metres, making the speakerphone suitable for collaborative conversations around a meeting table.

Full-duplex audio allows participants to speak and be heard simultaneously, helping conversations flow naturally even when people speak at the same time. Integrated noise and echo reduction helps minimise unwanted background noise and acoustic interference during conference calls.

The Poly Sync 40 uses a 50mm high-performance speaker with a 75Hz–20kHz speaker bandwidth. Its bass-reflex system with dual passive radiators is designed to provide natural voice reproduction and deeper bass, delivering clear speech and fuller audio for meetings and multimedia playback.

The speakerphone supports USB Type-A, USB Type-C and Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity. PCs can connect using the combined USB Type-A and USB Type-C cables, while smartphones and other compatible devices can connect wirelessly through Bluetooth. Supported Bluetooth profiles include A2DP, AVRCP, HFP, HSP and BLE.

The integrated 5000mAh rechargeable Li-ion battery provides up to 30 hours of talk time, allowing the Poly Sync 40 to operate wirelessly for extended meetings and flexible working sessions. Charging takes less than five hours, and the device can be charged using its cable connection.

Bluetooth connectivity provides a wireless range of up to 30 metres and supports pairing with up to eight devices. The speakerphone also supports wireless daisy chaining, allowing two compatible Poly Sync 40 units to be connected for expanded audio coverage in larger meeting spaces.

The touch-sensitive controls provide convenient access to call answer/end, mute, volume adjustment, Bluetooth pairing and the programmable function button. Physical buttons provide power on/off and wireless daisy-chain control, making commonly used functions easy to access during meetings.

Two highly visible 360-degree status light bars provide clear visual indication of call status. The speakerphone is designed for rooms up to 5 × 5 metres and provides microphone pickup of up to 2.5 metres, making it suitable for small conference rooms, meeting areas and flexible workspaces.

The Poly Sync 40 features an IP64 rating and is designed to provide protection against dust and water exposure. Its silver finish and compact dimensions of approximately 3.8 × 10.2 × 27.3cm make it suitable for both fixed and mobile workplace deployments.

For IT administration, the Poly Lens platform provides supported remote device management capabilities, helping organisations manage device inventory and updates. The speakerphone is Zoom certified and supports Windows 11, Windows 10 and macOS.

The Poly Sync 40 weighs approximately 0.61kg and includes a Quick Start Guide, wireless speakerphone, USB Type-A cable and USB Type-C cable. A charging stand is available separately.
