The APC Smart-UPS SMC1000IC is an intelligent line-interactive UPS designed to deliver reliable power protection for business-critical equipment in small offices, retail environments, and edge computing locations. As part of the APC Smart-UPS family, it combines efficient power conditioning with advanced monitoring capabilities to help maintain system availability during utility outages and electrical disturbances.
With a power capacity of 1000VA and 600W, the UPS supplies pure sine wave output, making it suitable for sensitive electronics such as entry-level servers, network switches, storage devices, business VoIP systems, and point-of-sale terminals. Its tower design allows flexible placement in environments where rack installation is not required.
The integrated SmartConnect port provides secure cloud-based remote monitoring and management, enabling users to access UPS status information, receive email notifications with recommended actions, perform firmware updates, and utilize remote diagnostics capabilities. The SMC1000IC includes APC PowerChute Business Edition software, which supports unattended shutdown of connected servers and workstations through USB or serial communication.
