The APC Smart-UPS SRTG 5000VA/5kW Rack/Tower 230V UPS (SRTG5KXLI) is a high-capacity online uninterruptible power supply designed to provide dependable power protection for servers, storage systems, networking equipment, medical laboratory equipment, and light industrial applications. It combines a 5000VA/5000W capacity with double-conversion online technology and pure sine wave output to deliver clean and regulated power to connected equipment.
The double-conversion online topology continuously conditions incoming electrical power and provides regulated output power to connected loads. This makes the SRTG5KXLI suitable for critical and sensitive equipment where power quality and continuity are important. Schneider Electric identifies this model as suitable for servers, storage, voice/data networks, medical laboratories, and light industrial applications.
The UPS provides a 5000VA/5000W power rating and operates at 230V. Its pure sine wave output is designed to provide clean AC power for sensitive electronic equipment and IT infrastructure.
The SRTG5KXLI uses a rack/tower convertible design, allowing it to be deployed according to the requirements of the installation. The SRTGRK1 rail kit is sold separately, so the rail kit should be purchased separately when rack installation requires it.
For connectivity, the UPS provides 2x IEC C13 and 1x IEC C19 outlets, together with a hard-wired 3-wire H+N+E output connection. The integrated network management capability enables network-based UPS monitoring and management, making the unit suitable for centrally managed IT environments. Schneider Electric specifies that a 1-year Secure Network Management Card subscription is included.
The SRTG5KXLI also supports extended runtime through external battery packs. Schneider Electric states that up to four SRTG192XLBP4 external battery packs can be added to increase runtime during prolonged power interruptions.
For power continuity applications requiring additional runtime, the external battery expansion capability allows organizations to configure the UPS according to their specific load and runtime requirements. A replacement battery is also available for the UPS.
The APC Smart-UPS SRTG 5000VA/5kW is covered by a 3-year warranty on the UPS hardware and a 2-year warranty on the battery, according to Schneider Electric’s Smart-UPS warranty policy for SRT models.
