APC Easy Rack ER8202
The APC Easy Rack ER8202 is an EIA-310 compliant rack enclosure designed to simplify the deployment of networking and IT infrastructure in small and medium-sized businesses, enterprise branch offices, and edge computing environments. Combining generous dimensions with integrated cable management and cooling features, it provides a reliable platform for supporting modern high-density installations.
With a height of 42U, a width of 800mm, and a depth of 1000mm, the ER8202 offers additional internal space for routing cables and accommodating a mixture of servers, storage devices, and networking equipment. The enclosure features ventilated front and rear doors with 81% perforation to promote efficient airflow, supporting cooling requirements for densely populated racks. It is rated to support static loads up to 1200kg and dynamic loads up to 600kg.
The enclosure is supplied with a roof, side panels, keys, levelling feet, castors, mounting hardware, and four PDU mounting brackets, while omitting a bottom panel. Certified to UL 2146 standards, the ER8202 incorporates integrated electrical grounding, ensuring the roof, front door, and rear door are bonded to the frame for enhanced operational safety.
Designed for deployment flexibility, the rack ships fully assembled for rapid installation but can also be supplied unassembled to facilitate transportation and storage in locations with restricted access. A multifunctional roof supports cable entry and efficient airflow management, while rear accessory brackets allow compatible components to be installed without tools.
The enclosure also includes integrated vertical 1U mounting spaces adjacent to the standard EIA-310 mounting rails. These sections can be removed and replaced with compatible 1U accessories, providing additional customization options for cable management and infrastructure expansion. Compatible with APC Easy Rack cooling solutions, cable management accessories, and Easy Rack PDUs, the ER8202 offers a scalable and comprehensive solution for growing IT environments.
