The Jabra Engage 50 II UC Stereo Headset (5099-299-2269) is a professional wired stereo headset designed for contact centres, customer service operations, office environments and Unified Communications users. Its dual-ear stereo configuration provides immersive audio while helping users focus on calls, online meetings and customer interactions in busy professional environments.

The headset incorporates an advanced 3-microphone digital MEMS system designed to improve voice clarity in busy working environments. The microphone array uses noise-cancelling and beamforming technology to focus on the user’s voice while reducing unwanted background sound. The microphone system provides up to 36dB of background-noise reduction and supports a 100Hz–14kHz microphone bandwidth.

Audio is delivered through 20mm speakers supporting a 50Hz–20kHz frequency range in music mode and 100Hz–14kHz for speech. The stereo configuration provides two-ear audio for calls, meetings, training sessions and other professional communication workloads, while the noise-isolating fit helps reduce distractions in busy office and contact-centre environments.

The headset uses USB-C connectivity with a USB-A adapter, allowing connection to a broad range of business desktops, notebooks and workstations. The wired design eliminates the need for Bluetooth pairing or battery charging. The supplied Jabra Engage 50 II Link control unit provides the primary interface for call and headset management.

The included Jabra Engage 50 II Link control unit provides dedicated controls for volume, mute, call answer/end and call hold, together with programmable functionality. It also includes SmartRinger, allowing incoming call alerts to be heard when the headset is placed on a desk or other flat surface.

An integrated busylight provides a visual indication when the user is busy. The Link controller provides LED indications for incoming and active calls, mute and hold status, while programmable functions can be configured through supported software and the Jabra SDK.

The Jabra Engage+ software platform adds real-time guidance and analytics for supported contact-centre workflows. It can provide feedback related to background noise, microphone positioning, silence and conversation behaviour, helping agents and managers improve call quality and customer interactions.

This configuration is the Unified Communications UC variant of the Engage 50 II. It is certified for Zoom and supports compatibility with other leading communications platforms including Google Meet, Cisco, Unify and Amazon Chime. Jabra Direct and Jabra Xpress provide additional options for configuration, firmware management and device deployment.

For user protection during extended calling sessions, the headset incorporates Jabra SafeTone 2.0 and PeakStop 105, together with hearing-protection support for EU Noise at Work, G616 and OSHA requirements. These technologies are designed to help manage exposure to excessive sound levels and sudden acoustic peaks.

The stereo headset weighs approximately 65g without the Link controller and approximately 152g with the Link controller. It uses an on-ear headband design with leatherette ear cushions. The construction uses materials including leatherette, PC and PC/ABS plastic, polypropylene, silicone rubber, stainless steel and TPE.
