The Poly Sync 40+ USB-A/USB-C & Bluetooth Speakerphone with BT700 USB-A Adapter (772C5AA) is a professional smart speakerphone designed to provide clear, natural audio for conference calls, online meetings and flexible collaboration environments. It combines a three-microphone steerable array, full-duplex audio, noise and echo reduction, a 50mm high-performance speaker, USB connectivity and Bluetooth in a portable wireless design.

The integrated three-microphone steerable array focuses on participants’ voices while helping reduce surrounding noise and distractions. The microphone system provides a 100Hz–6.7kHz bandwidth and up to 2.5 metres of microphone pickup, making it suitable for collaborative conversations around a meeting table.

Full-duplex audio allows participants to speak and be heard simultaneously, helping conversations flow naturally even when people speak at the same time. Noise and echo reduction technology helps minimise unwanted background noise and acoustic interference during conference calls.

The Poly Sync 40+ uses a 50mm high-performance speaker with a 75Hz–20kHz speaker bandwidth. Its bass-reflex system with dual passive radiators is designed to provide natural voice reproduction and deeper bass for clearer speech and fuller multimedia playback.

The major connectivity advantage of the Sync 40+ is the included Poly BT700 USB-A Bluetooth adapter. The adapter provides convenient wireless connectivity to compatible PCs, while smartphones and other supported devices can connect directly through Bluetooth 5.1. Wired connectivity is also available through USB Type-A and USB Type-C.

The integrated rechargeable Li-ion battery provides up to 30 hours of talk time, allowing the speakerphone to be used wirelessly for extended meetings and flexible working sessions. Charging is performed via cable and takes less than five hours according to the current HP specification.

Bluetooth provides a wireless range of up to 30 metres. The speakerphone supports Bluetooth profiles including A2DP, AVRCP, HFP, HSP and BLE. Wireless daisy chaining is also supported, allowing compatible Poly Sync units to be paired for expanded meeting-room coverage.

The touch-sensitive controls provide convenient access to call answer/end, mute, volume adjustment, Bluetooth pairing and the programmable function button. The wireless daisy-chain function is controlled through a dedicated physical button.

The Poly Sync 40+ is designed for meeting rooms of up to 5 × 5 metres and provides microphone pickup of up to 2.5 metres. Two highly visible status light bars provide clear visual indication of call and pairing status.

The speakerphone features an IP64 rating, providing protection against dust and water exposure for greater durability in everyday professional environments. Its silver finish, compact 3.8 × 10.2 × 27.3cm dimensions and 0.61kg weight make it practical for both permanent and mobile workplace deployments.

For IT administration, Poly Lens provides supported remote device management capabilities, helping organisations manage compatible devices and updates. The Poly Sync 40+ supports Zoom and Google Meet and is compatible with Windows 11, Windows 10 and macOS.
